ORDER ACCEPTANCE/CONFIRMATION

Ergodamy may, in its sole discretion, refuse or cancel any order and limit order quantity at any time.

Ergodamy may also require additional qualifying information prior to accepting or processing any order. Once we receive your order, we’ll provide you with an email order confirmation. Your order confirmation, however, does not signify Ergodamy’ acceptance of your order; we are simply confirming that we have received your order. Ergodamy reserves the right at any time after receiving your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. If Ergodamy cancels an order after you have already been billed, Nouhaus will refund the billed amount to the original form of payment.

You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing the product from us will be correct, that the credit or debit card, or account, or other payment methods which you use are your own, and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the product. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your payment details before providing you with the product.

You must pay for the product in full when placing an order by one of the payment methods we provide on the website. In any event, we shall not be bound to accept the order before we have received the funds in full.

Irrespective of any previous price you have seen or heard, once you select a product that you wish to order, you will then be shown the charges you must pay and any applicable delivery charges.

When you submit an order to the website, you agree that you do so subject to these terms and conditions current at the date you submit your order. You are responsible for reviewing the latest terms and conditions each time you submit your order.

WHEN WE CHARGE PAYMENT

All prices are in US dollars and subject to any applicable taxes according to state and local laws. Product availability, prices, and delivery rates are subject to change. We reserve the right to restrict any orders of items.

You will be charged for your order when you place it. If, for any reason, you decide to cancel before your order processes and ships, you'll be refunded in full.

DISCOUNTS, PROMOTIONAL CODES, AND PRICE MATCHES

Through our direct-to-consumer model, we’re able to provide the best prices and best value on our products every day. While you're shopping with us, if you find the same product currently selling for less on a major retail platform, contact our customer service. We'll happily match that price before you check out.

We run flash sales or clearance events occasionally. It does not apply to match our own past prices or during our flash sales and clearance events.

SALES TAX, TAX-EXEMPT, AND VAT

The tax amount you’re paying at checkout on our website is either sales tax or VAT, varying by each country’s regulation. Tax will be calculated when you put in your shipping address. Here’s what you’re paying at specific locations:

The United States - The 48 contiguous United States: sales tax subject to each state’s regulations 
Canada provinces, including Vancouver Island - BC: sales tax (PST, GST/HST) 
Countries in the European Union (except Cyprus), Switzerland, and the UK: VAT is defined at the national level 
Other international countries: no sales tax is applied at checkout 
We don’t have the option that enables customers to place tax-exempt orders directly on our website. But you can reach out to us at support@ergodamy.com with a tax-exempt document, forms, and/or ID cards, and our team will help to process the order for you. 

SECURITY CHECKS

From time to time, our team will perform a security check on an order to ensure your credit card safety. If your order is subject to a security check, you’ll receive an email from us. All you’ll need to do is provide us with the requested documents for proof of identity and address.

Customs, Tax, and Tax Exemption

You will not be charged customs or duties on your Nouhaus order. We collect sales tax where we are required to by law, and as such, the amount will vary depending on zip code or postal code. If your shipping address is changed after your order is placed, the difference in tax rate will need to be charged/refunded. Any applicable taxes will be clearly shown at checkout.

IMPORT DUTY TAX

As we’re shipping from a US warehouse, duty tax is applied to all international orders shipped to: 

Noncontiguous states in the U.S.
Canada - All provinces, Canada provinces, including Vancouver Island, BC 
Countries in the European Union, Switzerland, and the UK
Other international countries
International orders (shipped to locations mentioned on the list right above) might be subject to import tax or other clearance fees when you clear customs at the border. Please check your country's regulations on the import tax rate. We don’t charge or cover import tax of any kind. 

PRICING AND PRICE CORRECTIONS 

Ergodamy deserves the right to change the pricing for products displayed at any given time.

The ongoing global supply chain issues have significantly increased the costs of shipping our products to our customers. As a result, you’ll see a bit of an increase in pricing across most of our catalog. 

We will never compromise on the quality of our products, and we’re making this change so that we can continue providing the styles and service our customers love.
